During this hands-on training, students learned vital life-saving skills, including how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and properly use a tourniquet. Beyond these critical techniques, students also gained knowledge on emergency response procedures, assessing situations quickly and safely, and remaining calm under pressure, preparing them for real-world medical emergencies.
Thanks to Mobile County EMS for providing this invaluable experience. Their dedication and expertise not only enhanced our students’ practical skills but also inspired them to take an active role in promoting safety and preparedness in our community. This training is an essential part of equipping our future healthcare professionals with the confidence and competence they need to save lives.

Last Friday night was a very special evening at The Eye as we held our Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, honoring seven outstanding individuals who have made a lasting impact on Alma Bryant athletics and our community. This year’s inductees were:
Art Smith
Tyler Mills
Bob Myers
William Elliot
Charles Tolbert
Coach Scott Meredith
Coach Todd Watson
These men represent the very best of what it means to be a Hurricane, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, leadership, and excellence. Their influence has shaped countless student-athletes over the years and continues to inspire the next generation.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in attendance for helping us celebrate this memorable night. The Hall of Fame is not only about honoring past achievements, but also about reminding us of the tradition and pride that makes Alma Bryant the best high school in Mobile County.
Congratulations again to our 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame class! 🌪️💙

Over the weekend, Alma Bryant High School was proud to play host to a Middle School Volleyball Tournament as the season officially kicked off. The gym was packed with energy, competition, and school spirit as many local teams came together to showcase their skills on the court.
Both Grand Bay Middle School and Alba Middle School were in attendance, representing Cane Nation with pride and determination. Players showed great teamwork, hustle, and sportsmanship throughout the day, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.
A huge thank you to all the coaches, players, parents, and volunteers who made this event possible. It was truly a great day of volleyball and community coming together to support our student-athletes! 💙
