Today, our senior Health Science students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Stop the Bleed course, made possible by a visit from Mobile County EMS!
During this hands-on training, students learned vital life-saving skills, including how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and properly use a tourniquet. Beyond these critical techniques, students also gained knowledge on emergency response procedures, assessing situations quickly and safely, and remaining calm under pressure, preparing them for real-world medical emergencies.
Thanks to Mobile County EMS for providing this invaluable experience. Their dedication and expertise not only enhanced our students’ practical skills but also inspired them to take an active role in promoting safety and preparedness in our community. This training is an essential part of equipping our future healthcare professionals with the confidence and competence they need to save lives.

Tickets will be $40 for Bryant students and $60 for outside dates from September 23rd through October 9th. Ticket prices will increase to $50 for Bryant students and $75 for outside dates October 13th through October 15th. Outside date forms are available in the office and outside of Mrs. Bosarge’s room, 506. Outside date forms are due at the time of ticket purchase. Tickets will be sold during lunchwaves.

Senior Portrait make-up day has been rescheduled for September 25th. This is for those seniors that did not take their Senior Portrait at the end of the summer. Please see Mrs. Stokes in G5 if you have questions.
Parents, we wanted to inform you that Mobile County resource officers were on our campus today conducting random searches for weapons, drugs, vapes, and cell phones not locked in Yondr pouches. This is part of our enhanced safety plan that was created to keep our schools safe and conducive to learning.
Parent, all students should have a progress report that was handed to them today to bring home to you.
Parents and students, please be reminded that phones should not be in our students hands or visible during dismissal. Once pouches are unlocked, phones should stay in bags or pockets until you leave campus.

Parents and students, please know that 1st period begins at 7:09. For those driving that can't get here on time consistently, parking privilege's will be revoked. After 4 tardies, students will be required to go to Saturday school.
If your student did not receive their clear bookbag please have them come by the office and pick it up before the end of the week.
Brandon Rice earned a B.S. in Secondary Education, Social Sciences, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of South Alabama. He brings twenty-five years of experience in education, having served at Nan-Gray Davis and Hankins Middle Schools from 2001–2004 and at Baker High School from 2004–2022. During this time, he taught a wide range of history and Advanced Placement courses, sponsored student organizations, and coached baseball. Most recently, from 2022–2025, Mr. Rice served as Academy Specialist and Career Coach at Davidson High School, where he built business partnerships, led college and career readiness initiatives, and highlighted student success through community engagement. A recent graduate of the MCPSS Leadership Academy, he has been recognized for his commitment, authenticity, and passion for student achievement. Mr. Rice is excited and eager to serve the Bryant High School community, faculty, and staff, and is grateful to be part of Hurricane Nation!
🏐 Middle School Volleyball Tournament at Alma Bryant 🌪️
Over the weekend, Alma Bryant High School was proud to play host to a Middle School Volleyball Tournament as the season officially kicked off. The gym was packed with energy, competition, and school spirit as many local teams came together to showcase their skills on the court.
Both Grand Bay Middle School and Alba Middle School were in attendance, representing Cane Nation with pride and determination. Players showed great teamwork, hustle, and sportsmanship throughout the day, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.
A huge thank you to all the coaches, players, parents, and volunteers who made this event possible. It was truly a great day of volleyball and community coming together to support our student-athletes! 💙
