Blankets will be available as soon as payment is received and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are limited. Please submit payment to the school within 24 business hours of completing the pre-order form (link below). If payment is not received in that timeframe, your reservation will be released.
The box is located along the side walk in front of the school, on the gym side.

Class parties are tomorrow from 11:30-12:20. One parent per student may attend- no siblings please.

The YMCA is offering No School Day programs for students in the community during the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks, hosted at the Semmes Community Center. Check out the flyers for more details!

4th/5th Grade girls are invited to the SMS Cheer Clinic! 📣
The clinic will take place on December 9-10 from 4-5:30pm in the SMS cafeteria. The performance will take place on December 11 during either the boys basketball game or the girl's game (specific times will be announced later). The clinic is $35, this includes a tshirt, snack, and their ticket entrance for the game. They will learn a cheer, chant, and a dance to perform for the spectators of the game. Parents will need to purchase their own ticket for the game either at the door or on gofan.co. Space is limited so ticket availability will be on a first come first serve basis.
Waivers, permissions, and money are due no later than November 21, 2025. Money can either be brought to the school (Semmes Middle) in an envelope with an attn line for Ms. Barnhill or you can pay the $35 on gofan.co.

Students who donate will receive a ticket to be out of uniform on Friday, November 21st.
Each grade level is asked to bring the following items that will be used to make meal baskets for local families:
K & Pre-K: Boxed Dessert Mix
1st: Boxed Macaroni and Cheese
2nd: Mashed Potato Mix or Stuffing Mix
3rd: Rice or Gravy Mix/Canned Gravy
4th: Canned Fruit or Cranberry Sauce
5th: Canned Vegetables: Corn/Green Beans/Sweet Potatoes/Carrots
Tomorrow is the LAST DAY of the book fair! That means it is the last chance to stock up on new books, supplies, activity kits, cookbooks, and so many other goodies. We are excited for all of the books that have found new homes and the funds we have raised for our school!
*The book fair will close at 1:00pm on Friday, September 19.
